LGG: Truth Over Lies: Week 5 ~ Tuesday

S: "Don't lay up treasures for yourselves on the eretz, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal;
but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don't break through an
d steal;
for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

O&A: I have to say, before I have even read the other verses, something that stands out to me so incredibly is this: Abba said in His word that we are His chosen treasure (Deuteronomy 7:6)... so if we are His treasure, that means His heart is with us!!! He wants not just our love, but He wants us to return HIS love to Him. He wants us to share this treasure trove with others so that they can be equal partakers in the shamayim/heavens. So that we can all enter into His presence, through the door, who is our Lamb and Messiah, Yeshua. There is no other treasure that we should desire.

P: Avinu malkeinu, our God and our King, Your word is so mighty and correcting. I have desired things other than You, and other than Yeshua, which if I were to translate, I would be admitting that I have desired things other than Salvation, because that's what His name means. Abba, I desire You, I desire to be counted upright and worthy of carrying Your banner to the nations/kol goyim, to represent Your kingdom, and to tell of Your great love and mercy, compassion, and sacrifice. Abba, continue to use me. I continue to give You full access to this heart, in the desire that I will learn to love more like You. In Yeshua's name, Amein.

LGG: Truth Over Lies - Week 1 Monday

SOAP: John 8:44; Ephesians 6:11

S: You are of your Father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn't stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

O&A: The wiles of the adversary - his LIES. His DECEIT.
The verse in John, boy. "He was a murderer from the beginning". I immediately see the lies in the garden, but the very first sacrifice/first death was made because of the lie that Adam and Hawwa/Eve accepted. The animal had to be killed/murdered. Then think of Cain and Abel, again, murder because there is no truth in haSatan, and those who follow after him refuse to receive the truth of the God of Israel and the author of the Scriptures we learn from that Yeshua taught from, and the Spirit that was sent for us. Putting on the whole armor of Elohim is about allowing Abba to protect us, but also because it shows His great love for us! I really see, in a sense, that the armor we are to put on is like having Yeshua's blood covering us. You can't put on a suit of armor and have any place on you NOT covered, unless your armor is faulty, just like we can't be partially washed in Yeshua's blood - you either are, or you aren't. I spoke with my husband this morning concerning some lies that people have received, and I said to him, "I know you're my husband. If someone came up to me and told me that you're NOT my husband, I would tell them 'That's not true - he IS my husband.' I was there at our wedding, and I am here as your wife day to day. I couldn't receive the LIE that you're not my husband... know why? Know WHY I can't receive that LIE??? Because I KNOW THE TRUTH." Oh boy! THIS, sisters, is why we have to KNOW God's truths, and BELIEVE God's truths... KNOW and BELIEVE that YESHUA is our Messiah. KNOW AND BELIEVE that haSatan wants to tear us AWAY from the kingdom, just as he and his children will NEVER be able to enter the kingdom (misery loves company). BELIEVE GOD'S TRUTH. Stand against the trickery, deceit, and lies of the enemy.

James 4:7 says "Submit yourselves in mishma'at (obedience) to Hashem (God). Resist Hasatan (the adversary), and he will flee from you." This is where it's at. I'm tired of believing the lies! I'm tired of haSatan even *thinking* he can come around here trying to whisper lies to me, to my family, my loved ones... I know it's what he does (roaring lion, seeking to devour), but we can be strengthened in the Word of Elohim, and in the Good News/Gospel of Yeshua to withstand those wiles, and if we do, haSatan MUST flee. Let's get him running!!!

P: Abba, my Father, my King, my Sovereign... I am so thankful for Your mercy and grace, that when I have received lies, Your voice has spoken louder, Your Word is truth, and You have not allowed me to fall away from You, or from Your Son, Yeshua my Messiah. Abba, gird me up in Your truth, in Your armor, and help me to stand FIRM on the Rock of salvation. I refuse to listen anymore to the lies of this world, which haSatan is ruler over. Let me Kingdom-minded, Yeshua centered, and ready to battle for Your sake. I praise You and give You glory, in Yeshua's name, Amein.

LGG: Truth Over Lies - Week 1 Friday

SOAP: Psalm 119:11

S: I have hidden your word in my heart, That I might not sin against you.

O&A: I really love this "received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so." (Acts 17:11) As for the SOAP ver
se, it comes to mind that the heart is desperately wicked, who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9) But Abba knows our hearts(Jeremiah 17:10). He knows that there is wickedness that lies within the hearts of men. So if we hide/treasure/guard His word in our heart, in our innermost place that is described as being wicked, it makes me think that just as light penetrates darkness, His Word will penetrate the wickedness that is evident within us. (John 1:5; 1 John 1:5) We must study, discern, rightfully divide His word, according to the Scriptures, so that we are not led astray by our own understanding, but see, discern, and understand through Abba's eyes.

P: Avinu Malkeinu, our Father and our King, You are above all, and worthy of all praise and honor. Abba, I have been delinquent in truly treasuring Your word in my heart, yet I yearn to do so. I understand the apostle who said he does what he doesn't want to do, but doesn't do that which he ought! I am so thankful for the sisters You have allowed in my life, that they speak words of chai/life, and ahava/love... words of shalom/peace, and words of chesed/lovingkindness. Mold me, Abba, to be the daughter You wish me to be, obedient, loving, and a lover of Your instruction, correction, and an encourager to those You send me to. Help me to rightfully hide Your word in my heart to pierce the darkness, to obliterate the wickedness. I love You, my King, and desire to please and serve You. In Yeshua's name, Amein.

LGG: Truth Over Lies - Week 2 Tuesday

SOAP: Romans 8:31-32

S: What then shall we say about these things? If Elohim is for us, who can be against us? He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

O&A: I want to focus on "If Elohim is
for us, who can be against us?" We already know who is victorious!

P: Avinu, Malkeinu, My Father and My King, I am so thankful for Your victory, and for Your Son Yeshua, whose name literally means Salvation. Thank You for allowing us the opportunity of redemption and salvation, and thank You for being victorious in the war! In Yeshua's name, Amein.

LGG: Truth Over Lies - Week 2 Friday

SOAP: Isaiah 43:25; 1 John 1:9

S: (1)I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.

(2)If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

O&A: This is really wonderful. "I, even I," (this is the Most High speaking... capable of all things)

"am he who blots out your trangressions" - rebellion/sin/transgression/trespass - פֶּשַׁע [pesha] which is a very similar word to the word that is translated as Passover [פֶּסַח] It is also used in Leviticus 16:16, when Aharon/Aaron makes atonement for for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Yisra'el, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting, that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleanness. Also used in Leviticus 16:20-22 "When he has made an end of atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat. Aharon shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Yisra'el, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness. The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall let the goat go in the wilderness.

"for my own sake" - for my sake- vindicating My name

"I will not remember" - no longer bring to mind; no longer contemplate things called back to memory

"your sins" - the Hebrew word for this means a sin offering, can also be known as a purification offering. It is seen especially throughout the Torah/first 5 books of instruction. This offering is brought during or after atonement for those transgressions that had been committed inadvertently, or in ignorance: intentional transgressions could only be absolved by other forms of atonement, or in severe cases kareth. It was distinct from the biblical guilt offering.

In the second passage, what stands out to me is that God/Elohim is faithful and righteous to not only FORGIVE, but also to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness/sins. All sin requires the shedding of blood, and in our case, it's the blood of Messiah that atones for our sins. Hebrews 9:22 "Indeed, according to the Torah, almost everything is metohar (purified) by dahm (blood), and without a kapporah (cover) by means of shefach dahm (the shedding of blood) there is no selicha (forgiveness)."

Long story, short (is it too late for that?)... He has covered us by the blood of the Lamb, our Messiah Yeshua, to atone for our sins. He has forgiven us, and will no longer contemplate things called back to memory.. So why do I allow myself to be bogged down with the things I did when I was a totally different person?!? Before I was made new by the blood of Messiah?!? HalleluYah for His redemption and covering and atonement, and that He doesn't hold these things against us. When Yeshua would tell a person, "Go, and sin no more", it became up to that individual to no longer repeat their transgression, and so it is with me. I think sometimes I must have a guilty conscience from doing things that maybe I know I shouldn't be doing, and therefore giving haSatan a foothold in my life.

P: Abba, there are either no words to speak, or so many I can't get to them all. I am in awe of Your love for me, and in love with the sacrifice You made. I know I get so long-winded sometimes in my study, but it's only to dig into the meaning of Your Word. Abba, You are enough. The blood of Yeshua is enough. I will not shrink back in fear of who I used to be, knowing that I am covered in the atoning blood of Your Son, my Messiah. I am thankful. In Yeshua's name, Amein.

LGG: Truth Over Lies - Week 3 Tuesday

SOAP: Hebrews 13:20-21

S: Now may the Elohim of shalom, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Adon Yeshua, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Yeshua the Messiah, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amein.

O&A: Abba tells us in the scriptures that His word does not go forth and come back void. (Isaiah 55:10-11 "For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn't return there, but waters the eretz, and makes it bring forth and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.")

Now from another perspective, Yeshua is the Word, yes? Yeshua does not go forth and come back void - He is ALWAYS victorious. When we submit ourselves to Adonai, we allow ourselves to be useful to Him, and He only uses us in ways that are pleasing to Him, even if they may not be so pleasant to us at the time! (Personal experience here, lol) In order for Him to work in us through Yeshua our Messiah, we must be covered by the atoning and forgiving blood of the Lamb.

P: Avinu Malkeinu, my Father and my King, Your Word is excellent, and it is prosperous, and You are perfect in all Your ways. I am not perfect, but receive perfection through Messiah's blood. I am so thankful that Your word does not return void, unlike some of my words, especially if I speak out of anger. I am thankful that You are the Elohim of shalom/peace, and that by receiving Your Son, I receive Your rest. I am able to rest in the assurance that I am not alone in this race, that You are always with me. In Yeshua's name, I give You many thanks, Amein.
