Joshua: Walking In Victory: Week 1/Day 1

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate thereon day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

For the verses I read today, I kept hearing the Father speaking to His child... Be strong and courageous... Only be strong and very courageous... Haven't I told you? Be strong and courageous. Meditate on the book of the Law day and night - in everything you do.

Like Psalm 1: Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
But his delight is in the L-RD's law; On his law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.
The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the L-RD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked shall perish.

I just hear Abba giving direction, correction, instruction, giving His child(ren) warning...

Strangely enough, the verse that says the book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth brings to mind a cow ruminating its food. We should take Abba's Word, and rather than just let it pass right through us, we ought to continually contemplate it, meditate on it, speak it, think it, live it...

Reference Psalm 111:10 "The fear of the L-RD is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!"

Avinu Malkeinu, our Father and our King, thank You Abba, for being a loving Father! Please help me meditate on Your Law and Your ways, and Your Word day and night, that I might reflect You better, and lead those around me to You through Your Son Yeshua our Messiah.
B'Shem Yeshua, Amein.
