Day Book July 16, 2014

FOR TODAY:  Wednesday, July 16, 2014

Outside my window... The sky is in the beginning stages of a mingled state.. evening becomes dusk.

I am thinking... About how grateful I am for the husband and sons that Yah has given me.  I am also thinking of how wonderful Yah is!  (I am also wondering why it is that I am sitting at home with a broken big toe.. it should be self-explanatory, but I do not like this being idle.)

I am thankful... that everything is in Yah's mighty and capable hands!!!  He knows the destination AND the journey, while all we can see is the step that we're on.  I'm thankful that I don't have to be the one who knows, because I know THE ONE Who knows.  

I am praying... for Yah's will and His way to be done in Yerushalayim, as well as all else on the eretz (earth).  I'm praying that He will direct us and instruct as to what our next steps will be.

In the kitchen... I have a magnificent Ninja crockpot that I normally love, except that it became traitorous this afternoon by burning my elbow!  I misstepped on the foot with the broken toe, was off kilter, and then *OW!*.

I am wearing... Regular clothes.  Light grey sweat capris,a pink t-shirt, and a rigid sole shoe.  My head covering is a pink leopard style.

I am going... kind of crazy.  I'm not a very patient patient.  I will be getting up shortly to continue washing laundry while my husband and sons are at work.  

I am wondering... 

I am reading... Psalm 1, which is where we got our homeschool name from.  I will be returning to "Created to be His Helpmeet" by Debi Pearl. 

I am hoping... 

I am looking forward to... Seeing what Yah has in store for our faith community.  Hosting an oil teaching this weekend.  Yay!

I am learning... More about my Abba Yah.

Around the house... Laundry.  Kitchen.  Bedrooms.  Bathrooms.  School room.  All in need of some attention.  Nothing major, just because.

One of my favorite things... Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens.  Bright copper kettles, and warm woolen mittens.  Brown paper bags tied up with strings.  These are a few of my favorite things...
