Daybook 10/20/13

FOR TODAY:  October 20, 2013

Outside my window... It is a brisk 60 degrees outside with a brilliant sun shining.  Yah's glory shines bright as the sun- thanks to my Aunt Jan who spoke of His glory shining bright as the sun so often that her children and I are reminded of this always.

I am thinking... About the upcoming fasts and ministry that Yah is leading us into.

I am thankful... for Yah moving my family to this place to be placed in the community that believes in Him and whose delight is in Him, as is ours.

I am praying... For family members, friends and those unknown to me who are in need of Yah, whether it is his healing physically, spiritually, emotionally, or otherwise.  For a new friend/sister for Yah's Will in her circumstances.  For the members of our kahol (community) to be strengthened in Yah's Word and to stand steadfast to His ways.  For my Papa, and for Carolyn; my mom and step-dad; my sister and brother-in-law; my (step) sisters; my sisters- and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins... The list of needs continues...

In the kitchen... I have dishes from Shabbat left to wash, and dinner to get in the crock pot before heading to visit with my Papa.

I am wearing... Nothing glamorous, unless you consider grey sweatpants and a butter yellow long sleeved thermal-type sweater as fantastical.

I am creating... This daybook (thanks to my close friend Nichelle for introducing it to me!), and making changes to the blog site.

I am going... To Papa's later on for a visit, then later tonight to stay per my usual Sunday night sleepover.

I am wondering... Always wondering...

I am reading... In the Scriptures, this week we are continuing in Genesis (chapters 23-25), and continuing in Judges (chapters 5-10).

In other news, I don't have a book I'm currently reading.  I have a bit of an issue with reading, which is that I get so involved sometimes that I neglect other things I should be tending to.  How's that for transparency?

I am hoping...

I am looking forward to... Beginning a new business with my husband.

I am learning... How to be the wife and mother I was created to be, as determined by Yah's Word, and not the standards of this world.

Around the house... I need to de-clutter my office/school room area.  Badly.

I am pondering... What to make for dinner.  Whether I should put a load of laundry in right now. (Probably not.)

A favorite quote for today... Baruch HaShem YHWH.

One of my favorite things...

A few plans for the rest of the week:

A peek into my day... All that is above, lol.
